Mark Twain (real name Samuel Clemens, 1835-1910) is an outstanding American writer and journalist. The writer’s childhood passed in the small town of Hannibal (Missouri). It was this city and its inhabitants that were later described by Mark Twain in his famous works, especially in the adventures of Tom Soyer.
Mark Twain loved to repeat that “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” is a book for adults, meanwhile, the main character of this book is a boy. During his adventures, he manages to witness the murder and expose the murderer, engage in a single-class girl, run away from home and live at an uninhabited island, attend his own funerals, get lost in a cave, and find a precious treasure.
