The history of the 14th Wehrmacht Panzer Division was written by her veteran Rolf Grams, the former commander of the 64th motorcycle battalion, which was part of the division.
The 14th Panzer Division was formed in Dresden on August 15, 1940. Bart received combat baptism during a campaign in Yugoslavia in April 1941.
