The aim of the work was to study the characteristics of single -photon superconducting detectors created on the basis of the thin films of the NBN, an increase in the speed of the detector and the study of the possibilities of practical use of single -photon superconducting detectors instead of the traditionally used semiconductor single -photon detectors. A practical result of the work was the creation of a fast -acting single -photon detector based on the effect of single -photon detecting optical and IR radiation with thin -fashioned superconducting nanostructures. The detector has record characteristics in speed and sensitivity in a wide spectral range from UV to IR. The prospects of the use of detectors in the indigenous infrared microscopy of living biological samples with high temporary resolution are shown.
