Before you, dear reader, the book of the famous spiritual writer, the inhabitant of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Archimandrite Tikhon (Agrikova). In a difficult time for the Holy Church, Father Tikhon became a bright light of Orthodoxy, an experienced confessor, a brilliant preacher, who turned the hearts of many to true faith. By the will of the authorities of this century, the priest had to endure many sorrows and trials, leave Lavra, live in wanderings in the remote corners of the country. But from there, he wrote to spiritual children, answering with unchanging wisdom to the most difficult and burning questions.
