About the Resurrection, Death and Satan: Ephraim Monk

Edition of the Athos Russian Panteleimon Monastery. Nasibin hymns, or mandrash, about the resurrection, death and Satan are one of the most significant creations of the great Syrian poet and the mystic of the 4th century of the Monk Efrem Sirin (Marfrem Malfana). The hymns are full of vivid apocalyptic paintings, descriptions of hell and death, not inferior to Dante. The book first publishes a poetic translation of 7 hymns from the available 77.
