About the sin of foul language

A person who fades is used by this special gift to manifest his inner impurity, pours dirt from himself. By this, he defiles the image of God. Therefore, the Holy Bible calls the foul language along with other grave sins: “And now you will postpone everything: anger, rage, anger, glory, fading your mouth” (Col.3: 8). The Holy Apostles expose the sins that people commit through the word: “Language – fire, embellishment of non -true; the language in this position is between our members, which defiles the whole body and inflams the circle of life, being inflamed from hell” (IAK. 3: 6); “No rotten word comes from your lips” (Eph. 4:29). The righteous John of Kronstadt says about this sin with pain: “What uses less respect as a word? What is more changeable as a word?
