Zhang Bo-Duang (984-1082) is revered as one of the ancestors of the Taoist internal alchemy, and Liu I-Min (1734-1821)-a master in the 11th generation of the direction of the Drafonal Gates of the School of True-gained fame as a bright interpreter and the best commentator of this complex for understanding the esoteric tradition.
The book contains a complete translation into the Russian language of the general treatise on the language of alchemy “Resolution of doubts about the language of images” Li I-Min and the small but capacious classic text of Zhang Bo-Duan “four hundred hieroglyphs of golden cinnabar” with a parallel commentary Li I-Min. In these works, the essential meaning of the traditional images of internal alchemy is revealed and the entire alchemical process of obtaining “golden cinnabar” is described, based on a genuine understanding, in a simple and understandable language. The picture of the world in the traditional Chinese worldview is considered in the introductory article, the general outline of the textual tradition of the “film canons”, starting with Wei Bo-Yana (II century).
