Dante Aligieri is a great poet of the late Middle Ages. His main work is an unsurpassed, magnificent, truly divine “comedy” he devoted to the states of human souls in the terrible circles of hell, in the difficult lectures of purgatory, in the harmonious heaven of paradise.
