The book, first published by the British publishing house of Geddes & Grosset, describes in detail the events of the history of England from 55 BC To this day. Particular attention is paid to the development of a national English character. The book tells not only the widely known events, but also about entertaining facts, which usually remain outside the textbooks of history.
