The Dutch writer Robert Van Gulik created a series of stories and stories dedicated to the real character – the Chinese judge Dee, who lived during the Tang dynasty. Already in the early years of his career, the judge gained the glory of a fair and successful detective, who revealed many of the most confusing crimes. Of course, the author, as expected to the artist, invents the majority of the adventures of the ancient Sherlock Holmes, but is based on the real events that took place in ancient China.
