“History through the eyes of a crocodile. The twentieth century” is a series of books where all the events of the past century are described using caricatures and feuilletons from the main Soviet satirical magazine “Crocodile”. This is a 12-volume publication, consisting of four issues, three volumes in each:
First issue – 1922-37 – was released in November 2014
Second issue-1938-1956 (March 2015)
third issue-1957-1979 (June 2015)
Fourth-1980-1992 (September 2015)
Three volumes are “events”, “people”, “words”. The editors and authors of the publication selected the main events of the 20th century, the people who took part in them, and words, without which they could not understand that time, picked up cartoons and feuilletons from the archive of the magazine and wrote explanatory comments.
The third issue is dedicated to the period from 1957 to 1979. The conflict between representatives of the post -war generation and their fathers in the midst, the hippie time begins.
