The collection includes the letters and documents of the most prominent Russian social democrat (Menshevika) Yu.O. published for the first time in Russia. Martov, relating to the events of the revolution and the Civil War. The published materials give a vivid idea of the most complicated ball of political conflicts of those years, a courageous confrontation between democratic forces established in Russia by the dictatorial Bolshevik regime, completely highlight the tragic stage of Russian history and the life of Martov himself, devoted to oblivion of Soviet historiography, one of the founders of the Russian Social Democratic Party.
