The author of this book devoted her life to the art of dance at first as an artist of ballet in the Leningrad Maly Opera and Ballet Theater and the ensemble of folk dance under the leadership of Igor Moiseev, and then chose the path of the historian of choreography and ballet critic. She is the author of several books and a large number of articles, including such a little developed problem as a “pop dance”.
