This book is devoted to the analysis of the methodology of the process of cognition and is a logical continuation and development of the ideas of the previous work of the authors “The cognitive image of the world: a span for philosophy of education.” A person learns the world around him by representing – building models of reality, in which its most important characteristics are recorded. The consideration of this process is carried out in different planes of analysis: phylogenetic and ontogenetic aspects; Theory of social representation S. Muscovy; The theory of personal constructs of J. A. Kelly; theory of cognitive correspondence and dissonance; Theory of causal attribution of G. Kelly.
