In 1979, Jean-France Liotar wrote the study “The state of postmodern”, which was destined to become an important milestone in the understanding of himself by modern society. Do not forget that by the subtitle of the book it was: “Report on knowledge.” And in the first version, it was called “Problems of Knowledge in the most developed industrial societies” (the book was written by the University Council under the Quebec government).
Thirty -three years later (and in a society that can no longer be classified as “the most developed industrial”) modern discussion about the university and education, in our opinion, there is not enough claim to give a “knowledge report”, there is not enough desire to understand what is and is not yet/is not yet knowledge. Unanswered to this question or at least reflections on this problem of polemic around the school and university will remain a stream of justified, but idle curses addressed to ministries, officials and faceless circumstances.
