The textbook is the first part of the book “Physics in key tasks.” The principles and practice of solving problems in sections: mechanics (including a special theory of relativity), fluctuations and acoustics are considered. The original selection of tasks is primarily due to the possibility of their use to illustrate the fundamental laws of physics and its methodological principles (symmetry, relativity, etc.), the true meaning of which is manifested precisely when solving problems. Not only ways of solving specific problems are considered, but also, most importantly, where to start a solution, what physical laws and relationships will be useful in this situation. An analysis of possible solutions is given with justification of the optimal option. Many tasks are accompanied by a discussion of the decision obtained and the possible ways of its practical use.
