Rhinitis is the most common human disease, each of us has repeatedly experienced the symptoms of this disease. Despite this, there are significant disagreements in the views on the problem of rhinites that relate to the classification issues, as well as the roles and places of various treatment methods.
Against the background of a convincing database of evidence and well -structured international recommendatory documents on allergic rhinitis, many other forms of rhinitis remain almost “white spots” in medicine, and this leads to numerous errors in the therapeutic approach to this disease.
In this book, an attempt in an accessible form is made to state applied aspects of the anatomy and physiology of the nasal cavity, formulate the algorithm of differential diagnosis, and from the standpoint of pathogenesis to present and group the existing methods of treatment of various forms of rhinitis. The author gives the results of his own studies on pharmacotherapy of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis.
