The book is the first comprehensive study of the religious and philosophical views of Jeroschimonah Anthony (Bulatovich), one of the main representatives of Imayslavia-the currents in the Russian religious and philosophical thought that arose in the 1910s in connection with the disputes of the veneration of the name of God who erupted on Athos. The religious and philosophical views of Bulatovich are considered against the cultural and historical background of the era. At the same time, the main attention is paid to the comparison of Bulatovich’s views with the teachings of the Byzantine fathers of the Orthodox Church and with the Byzantine cultural and philosophical heritage in general.
