The materials presented in the manual are aimed at familiarizing older preschool children with the basics of astronomical knowledge, at the formation of a holistic natural science picture of the world in them.
Familiarization of children with the basics of astronomical and natural science knowledge contributes to the development of such valuable qualities in preschoolers as observation, the ability to comprehend the results of observations, creativity, curiosity, sociability, responsibility.
The manual contains all the necessary materials for organizing systematic work with children 5-6 years old: thematic planning, class notes, lists of control issues for each of the sections of the program, describing experiments that help children understand the essence of astronomical phenomena, literary material for use in the classroom, dictionary of astronomy terms.
The manual is addressed to teachers of preschool educational institutions.
