The book presents Roman Ray Bradbury “451? According to Fahrenheit” – a classic of science fiction. The novel describes the world of the future, in which books are ruthlessly burned by a detachment of firefighters, they are forbidden to read in a totalitarian society. In the center of the novel is the story of a firefighter Guy Montag. A number of tragic events leads him to the understanding that true values exist in a person’s life, and he becomes an outcast of society.
The publication contains an abbreviated and adapted text of the novel and is addressed to students in grades 9-11 of schools with in-depth study of the English language, as well as a wide range of readers with the level of language training Intermediate.
