Adventure on the road: Samuel Marshak

The Melik -Pashayev publishing house for the first time publishes the book of Samuel Marshak “Adventure on the road” with illustrations of Yuri Uzbekova – a professional caricaturist, a regular author of the children’s humorous magazine “Funny Pictures”, the creator of many funny, mischievous, sharp drawings. The book was prepared for printing in 1956, but never saw the light.
S. Marshak composed a fascinating story about a cat who escaped from a truck on the way to the country. The whole family is a grandmother, mother, brothers Seryozha and Petya, as well as the driver who joined them, go in search of a fugitive. Everyone finds a cat suitable in size and color. When the whole company with cats returns to the truck, it turns out that the culprit of the turmoil returned independently and sleeps tightly in his basket “… on the cargo car. / He walked around the yards, / For breakfast he ate a frog / and hastened to return to a soft pillow.”
