Alexander Vasilievich Suvorov – a brilliant Russian commander, count, gentleman of all Russian orders – owed all his achievements only to unique personal qualities, incredible determination, perseverance and desire for self -education. Starting military service by ordinary, he learned a lot about the soldier’s life and therefore managed to make progressive changes to the military work. He created his military school and actually proved the fidelity of its principles of his own unprecedented almost half a century of military biography. Under his command, the best European and Turkish armies were defeated, which repeatedly increased the prestige of Russia as a military power. In his books, “Regimental Institution” and “The Science of Win”, more than one generation of talented military leaders has grown up. The name of Suvorov will always be a symbol of honor, valor and glory of the Russian army.
