Plato is an ancient Greek philosopher, a student of Socrates and teacher Aristotle, the founder of idealism. His teaching significantly affected the whole world philosophy. The basis of his views is the idea of three main substances: a single, mind and soul. According to Plato, being consists of an absolute world of ideas, “eidos” and the sensually perceived world of things that are their implementation. This book includes recognized monuments of ancient literature – three famous works of Plato, “Apology of Socrates”, “Criton”, “Protagor”, in which the ideas and personality of his mentor – the great philosopher Socrates, under whose influence, Plato was in the early, so -called contracture of his work, are displayed.
