The book, which has a popular science character, considers the history of the penetration and spread of Christianity in the North Caucasus from the 1st to the 15th century; The role in this cultural and creative process of Greek missionaries from Byzantium, missionaries from neighboring Georgia and Latin-Catholic preachers from distant Italy; It is shown that a number of modern Muslim peoples of the North Caucasus were previously introduced to Christianity.
