The new book of Varlane Stronggin enthusiastically and sensationly tells about the random meeting of the great American jazz player Glenn Miller and the Russian girl Taisiya during the Great Patriotic War, in the village of Polyarny. This short meeting has grown into deep and sincere love that ended in Taisiya tragically: after all, at that time, relations with foreigners in the USSR were not encouraged, but, sometimes, was brutally persecuted.
