The real number of the almanac includes materials on the history of the Optina Desert, the Life of the Saints, the biographies of the inhabitants of the monastery and other persons related to the monastery. Documents and photographs are published from the archive of Optina Desert, as well as from other domestic and foreign museum and archival assemblies.
