The basis of the collection is the articles of participants in the interdisciplinary round table of the scientific school “Philosophy of globalization” of the financial university. The focus of the researchers is the complex fate of the intellectual elite of Russia, considered in the historical context. Against the backdrop of the analysis of specific problems of the modern culture of Russia, the main causes of the creative successes and failures of the Russian intelligentsia are revealed, and possible ways and ways to overcome obstacles to the spiritual development of Russian society are shown.
