The monograph discusses the problems of the formation and development of conservative and liberal political and legal ideologies in Russia, their conceptual essence, content and forms of expression. There is a comparative legal analysis of the political and legal component of these leading doctrines of the second half of the XIX – early XX century. In addition, an attempt was made to explain the logical historical fiasco of these two political parties, which were considered demiurges of the political process of pre -revolutionary Russia.
